What is used to treat lip Volume and Lip Lines?

Dermal Fillers are used to increase the size and define the shape of your natural lips. Dermal Fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid which is a substance that naturally occurs in the skin. There are many different Fillers that have a range of applications, but we most commonly use Restylane and Versa in the lips.

How it works?

Fillers are a gel like substance that plumps and hydrates the lips and fills in lines around the lips. 

What are the Benefits?

Fillers help increase the volume of the lips. They also fill the lines and define the border that sometimes falls with age. We can correct some asymmetries or imperfections in the natural shape of the lips. As an added bonus, they hydrate lips giving them a youthful healthy color and appearance.

Downtime?

Some swelling and bruising are expected after this procedure. Other than minor bruising and mild swelling, you can resume your regular routine. Most bruising can be covered with make up if necessary. We suggest you do not have the procedure done before a major event or social gathering. 

If you do not take Aleve, Motrin, Aspirin, Fish Oil, Alcohol, or blood thinners prior to your treatment it will help reduce bruising. Consult your physician before stopping any aspirin or blood thinner regime. We also offer Silagen tablets and Occumed pads that help reduce swelling and bruising after the procedure.
